REACH Media Inc. Promotes Bane, Witherspoon and Hires Affiliate Sales Director

Parent company of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show prepares team for growth as it expands its operations.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 7, 2004 --REACH Media Inc., parent company of the Tom Joyner Morning Show, announced several key personnel changes to manage the growth of the company.

Marla H. Bane has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations and Finance from her current position as Vice President. Ms. Bane holds oversight responsibility for Reach Medias financial planning and analysis, accounting and treasury functions, strategic planning needs, human resources and benefits, Information Technology and day-to-day management of the companys operational areas. Bane is a 25-year broadcasting and media executive who has held senior management positions with AMFM Radio Networks, Salem Communications and ABC Radio.

Katrina Witherspoon has been promoted to Vice President of Interactive Media for Reach Media, Inc. where she oversees day-to-day web operations for BlackAmericaWeb.com. Witherspoon also is responsible for managing multi-media advertising campaigns and promotions with online and radio advertising clients for BlackAmericaWeb and the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Witherspoon was promoted from Executive Director, BlackAmericaWeb.com, where she managed the complete redesign of the website. Witherspoon joined Reach Media from Match.com, where she led business development.

Kervin Clenance has been hired as Director of Affiliate Sales. Previously, he was General Sales Manager for Cox Broadcastings HOT105, a Tom Joyner Morning Show affiliate. Clenance will be working with the affiliates to maximize the local dollars they generate from Sky Shows and non-traditional revenue projects. He also will be working to integrate some of our national campaigns on the local level, including Take A Loved One to the Doctor and the Tom Joyner Family Reunion.

Reach Media, founded by radio personality, philanthropist and entrepreneur Tom Joyner, is a multi-media company formed in January 2003 as the parent company of all of The Tom Joyner Morning Show and several other businesses that will target African-Americans through radio, television, event production and the internet. The Morning Show is aired in more than 115 markets throughout the United States, reaching more than 8 million listeners every week.
