AIIM Announces Winners of Best Practices" Award
Winners Demonstrate Creative Use of Technology, Business Value, and Return On Investment in Enterprise Content Management Implementations
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 8, 2004 ---AIIM Conference and Expo, March 10, 2004 - AIIM announces the winners of the AIIM Best Practices Award" at the AIIM 2004 Conference & Exhibition. The AIIM Best Practices Award recognizes excellence in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) field. The term "Best Practice" denotes a standard of excellence that has been achieved within an organization and refers to a process that can be quantified, adapted, and repeated.
The award recipients are selected by AIIMs Emerging Technology Advisory Group (EmTAG), a volunteer committee comprised of consultant and end-user members who provide market and technology insight as well trending information. EmTAG selected the companies which in their view demonstrate the vision, leadership, creative use of technology, business value, and return on investment that are the hallmarks of Best Practices award winners.
The creation, management, and administration of company documents is rapidly becoming a top priority and concern for businesses today. It threatens the continued existence of those businesses that ignore it and offers an immense opportunity to improve profitability, reduce business risk and pain, increase performance, and improve security for those who master it," explained John Mancini, president of AIIM. The companies selected to receive the AIIM Best Practices Award for 2004 have demonstrated that Enterprise Content Management technologies have a tangible and short-term ROI and we are pleased to honor these excellent, innovative implementations. They are the end result of user commitment, supplier technologies, and partners with a solution focus."
