(PRWEB) March 10, 2004 -- Assemblymember Mark Leno, will be reading a proclamation from the California State Assembly at the Grand Opening of the Bay Area Center for Chinese Medicine on Friday, March 12, 2004 at 7 p.m.
Other luminaries such as Mayor Gavin Newsom, former Mayor Willie Brown, city supervisors, and other government officials have been invited to speak, receive fortunes and a free acupuncture treatment at the Grand Opening.
Dr. Suzanne Friedman, L.Ac., DMQ (China) will also be speaking on the topic of Feel Better in Five Minutes, as she demonstrates simple and easy breathing exercises anyone can do.
Dr. Friedman is a licensed acupuncturist and National Board Certified herbalist with a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctorate in Medical Qigong Therapy.
Free food, acupuncture demonstrations, herbal tea brews, a self healing qigong video and unique fortune cookies will be offered. A raffle will be held with several valuable prizes.
