Euroscreen Appoints François Roman, Ph.D., as Vice President of Research and Development

Euroscreen S.A. today announced the appointment of François Roman, Ph.D. to the position of Vice President of Research and Development. Dr. Roman joins Euroscreen with more than 25 years experience in Drug Discovery, including senior positions with Laboratoires Servier, Laboratoires Jouveinal, Parke- Davis and Pfizer PGRD.

Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) March 10, 2004 -- Euroscreen S.A. today announced the appointment of François Roman, Ph.D. to the position of Vice President of Research and Development. Dr. Roman joins Euroscreen with more than 25 years experience in Drug Discovery, including senior positions with Laboratoires Servier, Laboratoires Jouveinal, Parke- Davis and Pfizer PGRD.

Dr. Roman previously served as the Director of HTS and Assay Development at Pfizer PGRD France. Prior to his position at Pfizer, Dr Roman was the Head of Molecular Pharmacology at Parke-Davis France, Director of Biochemistry Department at Jouveinal Laboratoires, France, and Head of Neurochemistry unit at Laboratoires Servier, France. During more than 25 years, Dr Roman has been involved in many discovery programs and has managed various projects in a broad range of therapeutic areas including metabolic, CNS, gastrointestinal, pulmonary and inflammatory diseases.

Dr. Roman holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Paris VI, France and has more than 40 publications and 35 patents.
