Post Modern CCM Artist Angela Josephine in Nashville to Begin Work on Next CD
Angela Josephine, Contemporary Christian Musician, is in Nashville to begin work on her next CD. Josephine is known for her post-Modern blend of music, poetry and art. Production begins in March with John Pisciotta of Paradiso Music.
Traverse City, MI (PRWEB) March 15, 2004 --- Angela Josephine has announced she will begin production on a new CD this month, a follow-up to her successful debut, A Restful Sense of Urgency. Josephine, whose raw and intimate style has been likened to Joni Mitchell and Tori Amos, has said the project will continue into early summer, with a tentative September release date. No name for the project has been formally announced.
I am very excited to get back into the studio, and to have the opportunity to collaborate with great people whose work I truly respect," said Josephine, who will again play guitar and piano on the CD.
Producing the CD will be John Pisciotta of Paradiso Music in Nashville. Pisciotta is an experienced member of the CCM (Contemporary Christian Music) industry, having performed, written and toured with numerous artists including Steven Curtis Chapman, 4Him, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Michael Omartian and many others. John also produced Moe Loughran, who won the 2003 American Music Award for New Music.
"Angela is the kind of artist that pulls from multiple worlds - musical, visual, and poetic," explains Pisciotta. In this way, she is comfortable being different, comfortable being who and what God is making her to be. Im looking forward to producing Angelas record."
Fans of Josephine appreciate her post-modern mix of music, poetry and art. The new CD will look to capture that experience in a variety of ways.
As with the first CD, this CD will include original artwork and poetry interlaced through the jacket," confirms Josephine. Beyond that, the new CD will have some additional surprises that I cant go into just yet, but I think will enhance the project and further capture what I am looking to express, as an artist."
Look for additional announcements as the project moves to completion.
