Tampa based non profit, The Love Foundation, which developed the idea for Global Love Day, received the official citation this week. Other Mayors and Governors are expected to follow.
In just three months since its official launch, The Love Foundation already received responses from individuals and organizations in over 24 countries showing interest and endorsing the idea. This is the first annual version of Global Love Day and this years theme is Love Begins With Me." TLF Founder, Harold W. Becker, states, This day is a global recognition of humanity and the power of love within each individual." Awareness for this event is spreading largely by the internet and volunteers.
