A tour of gardens across Los Angeles County will showcase the use of California native plants on Sunday, March 28. At every garden, someone will be on hand to answer questions and show how easy it is to garden with natives.

(PRWEB) March 13, 2004 --Gardeners across the Southland, from the novice to the master, will have the chance to see up close the use of California native plants at the 2004 Native Garden Tour on Sunday, March 28, 2004. More than twenty gardens in communities across Los Angeles County will feature native habitats designed for wildlife, shady hillsides, Spanish-style gardens, and more.

The garden tour is self-guided and the gardens are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 28. Single tickets are $25 for members of the foundation and $30 for non-members. Couples tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members.

Ticket holders can choose the gardens they want to visit. At every garden, someone will be on hand at every location to answer questions. Many of the plants will be marked and some gardens will have before and after pictures, in addition to comments about design and installation.
