ObjectPlanet, Inc. releases Network Probe 1.1 beta 1

Today, ObjectPlanet released Network Probe 1.1 beta 1, a highly optimized version of its popular network traffic monitoring software.

Oslo, Norway (PRWEB) March 14, 2004 --Many optimizations have been implemented, including less memory usage, faster startup, faster data loading, all in all making it suitable for large scale heavily loaded enterprise networks.

"This is a great upgrade for Network Probe", says Bjorn J. Kvande, Managing Director of ObjectPlanet, "giving even IT-staff with large scale enterprise networks the opportunity to get a full overview of their network traffic situation, helping them plan their network infrastructure and capacity".

Network Probe 1.0, released back in October 2003, is nominated for the 14th Annual Jolt Awards in the Security Tools category. The 14th Jolt Awards will take place on March 17th at the Santa Clara Convention Center, California.

"This nomination means very much for ObjectPlanet, and it proves anyone can compete with larger companies as long as they have great ideas and the best developers around", says Bjorn.

ObjectPlanet Inc. is a vendor of network monitoring tools, Java based software components, and online survey software. ObjectPlanet was founded in 1998 and is based in Oslo, Norway, with customers in 80 countries around the world.
