Celebrate Earth Day with Connecticut Fund for the Environment

(PRWEB) March 24, 2004 --You and your friends are invited to meet the Connecticut Fund for the Environment during an Earth Day celebration and Open House Thursday, April 22nd, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m. at CFEs headquarters at 205 Whitney Ave. (across from the Peabody Museum), New Haven.
Join us for this 2004 Earth Day Open House in honor of CFE activists, members and friends. CFE staff members will be on hand to discuss our recent legislative efforts, legal advocacy, and outreach activities on Clean Cars, Endangered Lands, The Preserve," the St. Lawrence Cement Plant, Inland Wetlands, Long Island Sound, and more.
Free parking is available in the Yale University Information Technology Services lot just north of the building, or any Yale University lot after 4 p.m.

Since 1978 Connecticut Fund for the Environment has been the states nonprofit legal champion for the environment.
CFE has been working to improve air and water quality, minimize the negative impacts of highways, and preserve open space, wetlands and public water supplies for 25 years.
