Numerous entries were received from many proud innkeepers. Maytown Manors recipe for Monster Cookies received top honors from the panel of judges.

Recipe: Monster Cookies From: Maytown Manor Bed and Breakfast Makes: 10 Dozen Monsters or 300 smaller cookies
12 eggs 18 c. oatmeal
2 lbs. brown sugar 1 lb. M&Ms
4 c. white sugar 1 lb. salted peanuts
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 tsp. salt
8 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. Karo syrup
1 lb. butter or margarine
3 lbs. peanut butter
Mix in order given in large dishpan (or use large square Tupperware). Drop by ice cream scoop on cookie sheet. Flatten. Bake @ 350 degrees for 12 min. Do not over bake.
