April Outlooks: Dynamic Predictables

Much of the nation will trend cooler than usual in April 2004. Rainfall will be variable.

Dynamic Predictables forecast categories include: Near Average, Above Average or Below Average temperature and precipitation. No division is designated EC" or climatological," that is, having an equal likelihood of normal, above normal or below normal, in effect, no forecast. Dynamic Predictables suite of dynamic computer algorithms is physics based and not dependant upon sea surface temperature patterns or any other trendy environmental anomaly.

The forecasts should be useful to agriculture, construction, distribution and energy interests. THE CENTRAL APPLACHIANS, THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES, WEST TEXAS INTO THE HIGH PLAINS AND THE NORTHERN ROCKIES WILL BE MOIST. THE EASTERN CORN BELT, THE GREAT LAKES, NEW ENGLAND AND THE COASTAL CAROLINAS WILL SEE NEAR NORMAL MOISTURE.
