Using split second intensity, he explores his Chicano experience and puts it on a universal stage by channeling into many characters.
Serna explains, In this live performance I want to reach out to the audience and celebrate our unique cultures through the arts. I believe each and every one of us is an artist in his or her own life, and we each mix a part of our culture into our daily performance." Further to this concept, he continues, I want to build trust in new cultures through my programs. In this shared experience, you are transformed and when you leave, you see things differently. I perform what I hope to be a bridge to greater understanding and compassion for the souls ethnic journey from culture to culture because we really all are members of the same American Family."
