(PRWEB) March 16, 2004 --ITUnemployed.com was started in the summer of 2003 by an unemployed IT worker in Colorado, who saw an opportunity to provide the means for the thousands of unemployed IT workers in the USA and elsewhere to share information and a common voice. The site offers the user forums to post and comment on topics of discussion; links to state and federal government agency web sites that deal with labor and unemployment issues; rotating opinion polls on issues of interest to the community; and links to advocacy and special interest sites and pages. The site is built on top of the open source Xaraya content management system.
