Proteligent Launches Partner Program for BirdsEye Software

New Partner Program Is Aimed at Channel Partners who serve Small to Medium size Businesses (SMB)

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) March 16, 2004 --Proteligent, Inc., a pioneer in "easy-to-use" system monitoring software, today launched a channel program designed to promote partner market share while increasing revenues with add-on services when coupled with BirdsEye Software.

The partner channel will be able to use Proteligents system monitoring software, BirdsEye, as an enabling tool, allowing them to proactively detect, isolate, and prevent downtime while maximizing their services offering and delivering maintenance and "break/fix" contracts.

The main benefits of the Proteligent Partner program are:

- Increased Product Sales with Aggressive Partner Discounts
- New Consulting Opportunities
- Improved, 24x7 Proactive Customer Service
- More Efficient Use of Your Internal Resources
- Ability to Help Customers Plan Budgets More Precisely
- Participation in Market Development Program for Lead-Sharing
- Two-tiered Program to Meet Partner Goals

As an added incentive, Proteligent is offering newly signed partners an additional 10% off BirdsEye software partner pricing through April 15th 2004.

Proteligent provides rock-solid technology, extensive sales and technical training, ongoing marketing and sales support, co-branding assistance and convenient pre-packaged pricing. There is no fee to join and partners can download unlimited, free 30-day product evaluation copies for their clients. Resellers interested in joining Proteligents Partner Program are encouraged to visit to the companys web site (http://www.proteligent.net/var) to find out more information about the program.

"Proteligent understands the needs of the SMB market and the channel. We have developed a cost-effective system monitoring tool that, when coupled with the right IT resources, delivers a proactive, low-cost solution to system downtime," said Stephanie Piche, Channel Partner Manager for Proteligent. We believe that this combination will give our partners the ability to grow their SMB customer-base with a robust solution that easily fits their price range while increasing their on-site support services revenue."

With BirdsEye, Proteligents partners will also gain the ability to expedite remote diagnosis and resolution of their clients' IT problems. This will enable them to dispatch technical resources more efficiently armed with relevant data on servers, workstations, and network devices (Windows, RedHat Linux, Sun Solaris). Another advantage of using BirdsEye is that it has a proactive alert system allowing remote monitoring through email alerts or SMS text messages to pagers and cell phones of key personnel. This means the IT infrastructure will consume as few resources as possible and allow businesses to focus on growth and profitability.

Pricing and Availability
The BirdsEye Windows Server (which monitors Windows, Sun Solaris Unix and Red Hat Linux nodes) is available today. BirdsEye client-server configurations start at US$995.00 and include the BirdsEye server, five nodes, and the first year annual maintenance agreement. Additional licenses can be obtained at $295 for a five-node pack.
