Beer Radio Announces Selection Of Mark Walker To Be South African Reporter
After an arduous selection process, Mark Walker, resident of Johannesburg has been named as South African Bureau reporter for the USA based Beer Radio and U.S. Beer Drinking Team.
Beer Radio (www.BeerRadio.com) is the first "all beer all the time" radio program developed for international syndication. Based outside Baltimore, Maryland, (40 miles from Washington, D.C.) Beer Radio promotes the "sister and brotherhood of beer" to the 90,000,000 beer drinkers in the USA and around the world. The U.S. Beer Drinking Team (www.USBDT.com) is the first international pub, restaurant and beer store loyalty program for beer drinkers.
Johannesburg, SA. (PRWEB) March 16, 2004 -- "Beer Radio is terrific and I fell in love with the USBDT as soon as I printed out my free membership certificates from their website and distributed them to all my mates." stated Mark. "The USBDT truly celebrates their passion and love for beer. At first I thought Beer Radio would be just a bunch of mates sitting around talking about microbrews and acting like beer snobs, but the show truly celebrates all beer. They're always talking about your 'best beer on your best day with your best mates'. That's the same thing we look for here in SA. The Beer Radio guests are great too. Theyve interviewed brewmasters or owners from SAB/Miller, Sam Adams, Gambrinus, Genesee and other terrific brands. There is truly a worldwide appeal. The great beers they talk about are normally available as imports here in SA. They interface the show well with their BeerRadio.com website and USBDT pub, restaurant and beer store loyalty program. Its all very exciting. I believe Beer Radio is the next big thing in the worldwide beer industry and Im glad to be able to report back on happenings from South Africa!"
As South African Bureau reporter, Mark will provide Beer Radio with live location interviews as well as first hand accounts of great beer events, brewery tours and general information about the beer industry in SA.
According to Beer Radio Producer, Dennis Buettner, South Africa has become quite a hub for the international beer industry. We have a growing USBDT membership throughout SA and with Beer Radio available for international syndication and on the web (soon), it only serves a great purpose to have a real beer man from SA reporting. We appreciate Mark's enthusiasm and always look forward to his reports."
