(PRWEB) March 17, 2004 --The 2004 Pritzker Architecture Prize Laureate will be announced with full media kit, supporting background information and photographs on the PritzkerPrize.com web site on Sunday, March 21 at 9 a.m. PST.
The story is for publication and/or broadcast on Monday, March 22. By releasing at that time on Sunday, the intent is to provide all media throughout the world the possibility of breaking the story at the same time.
The on-line media kit provides links to high resolution images that may be downloaded for printing and/or broadcast. There is the official citation from the jury, as well as individual quotes from the distinguished jurors who make the selection each year for what is acknowledged as the profession's highest honor, often called the "Nobel" of architecture.
There is also a short feature on the location of the ceremony where the prize will be presented in St. Petersburg, Russia in the State Hermitage Museum. At that time, a $100,000 grant and bronze medallion are bestowed on the laureate, the 28th recipient in the 26 years the prize has been in existence.
