(PRWEB) March 18, 2004 --Using the templates many people within an organization who have no design experience can then produce their own collateral material by adding content, i.e. text and pictures without having to think about corporate design guidelines for logo, colors, fonts etc. The resulting publications will automatically be formatted to the corporate look and feel. All that is needed is access to a browser.

When text and pictures have been added to a template the resulting document can then be formatted as a PDF file and be printed for proofing review. If a PDF document is to be published to the WEB the system will automatically reduce the pictures to a lower resolution (72 dpi). The original pictures remain at their uploaded resolution in case a high-resolution print will be made later on.

cBrain has developed a unique tool to facilitate production of templates. The cBrain tool can validate XSL-FO style sheet for syntax errors and then immediately produce a PDF document for visual verification of the template. This makes template generation a fast iterative process.

The cBrain publication solution is aimed at organizations that have a need for allowing many people access to adding content to product brochures, data sheets and any other types of collateral material that is produced in volume or need to be changed often. The solution can be hosted by cBrain or installed at the customer site.
