Full Sail hires Stephen Murray for the Game Design and Development Program

Full Sail, an entertainment media college in Florida, hires industry veteran Stephen Murray for Full Sail's Game Design and Development Proram. Stephen Murray is an accomplished game design professional with credits on top selling games.

(PRWEB) March 19, 2004 --Full Sail Real World Education recently welcomed the addition of industry veteran Stephen Murray to the Game Design and Development teaching staff. Stephen has joined Full Sail as the Course Director for Gaming Project, the final class taken by students in the Game Design program.

Stephen arrives at Full Sail with over 12 years of professional software production and project management experience. His game credits include platinum and gold selling titles such as the Road Rash series for Electronic Arts, as well as Fade to Black, X Squad and Quake III Evolution.

It was obvious from Stephens resume that he had the game industry experience and the project management background to be a good fit in Gaming Project," says Rob Catto, Full Sails Program Director for Game Design and Development. I look forward to the contributions and changes he will implement into the course."

Full Sails Gaming Project course is designed to recreate the same kind of studio environment and production schedule students are likely to see out in the industry. Stephen is looking forward to utilizing his years of gaming experience during the Gaming Project course, as he passes on his production knowledge to a classroom of up and coming game developers.

I want to make sure that Full Sail students get the kind of education that will help place them into jobs and that they learn the same production techniques that are actually being used out in the industry," Stephen says. I find that gaming students have a lot of innate talent and a strong desire to succeed. My goal while teaching at Full Sail is to facilitate that passion and creativity and to help bring fresh ideas into the industry."
