Dr. Kathleen Reilly Fallon, a Foot and Ankle surgeon, volunteered at St.Paul's Chapel, one block from Ground Zero for eight weeks after 9-11-01, rendering foot and ankle care to members of the NYPD, NYFD and rescue workers. After experiencing the overwhelming sense of unity and patriotism exhibited by all the relief workers, it was clear to Dr. Reilly Fallon that these positive efforts needed to continue in order to help those who lost someone on that tragic day.
December of 2001 gave birth to "Heavenly Lullabies". Dr. Reilly Fallon along with twenty other artists created a CD to serve as a legacy to those heroes who sacrificed their lives on 9-11. The CD consists of 24 songs....a compilation of lullabies and classical pieces of music. The artists on the CD include: Ole Akahoshi, Arthur Aitkens, Gregg August, Andrew Bauer, Thomas Bitondo, Yurhee Chae, Robert Cartolano, Frederic Chiu, George Davidson, Renate Falkner, James J. Fallon, Kathleen Reilly Fallon, Kenneth A. Farnum, Alexander Mandl, Keith O'Neill, Pedro Pinol, Frank Pellegrino, Behzad Ranjbaran, Aleksandra Vojcic, Charlotte White, and Lev Zhurbin.
"Heavenly Lullabies" is dedicated to all those babies born after 9-11 who lost a father that day, along with the nearly 1,000 children who lost one or both parents that day. All net proceeds are donated to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. http://www.heavenlylullabies.org
