U.S. Soldier invents Personal cooling products for soldiers in the Middle East.

With a shoestring budget and a lot of ingenuity, Staff Sergeant William Vaughan has created cooling products which aid soldiers in keeping cool under the intense heat of Middle Eastern Summers.

(PRWEB) March 22, 2004 --The radical Coolade Thermotux military helmet cooler insert is the first accessory for the PASGT type Kevlar® aramid fiber helmet that not only COOLS, but also CUSHIONS the helmet harness. It greatly reduces fatigue and sore heads caused by the suspension system. Coolade uses evaporation technology to cool the scalp. The insert features special chambers partially filled with a water absorbing polymer. These polymer particles absorb water, expand and fill the chambers attached to the mesh cap. Just soak it in water for a few minutes, insert in your harness and you're ready to go! Cools for several hours on just one soaking. This product has become one of the most requested items by troops in the Middle East according to Newsweeks Jan 5, 2004 article, "All I Want For Christmas".
