See Exclusive Photos by Steve Spak taken shortly after the collapse of the Twin Towers. Trace Steve's steps as he walked through the Rubble of the World Trade Center, Certainly, this book will be a collectors item for members of the fire service because it is an intimate, personal chronicle of the events of 9/11. More importantly, though it is a history book that records and preserves the events through his eyes, Steve was there-he tasted, felt, heard, breathed and witnessed the destruction of that day, Now you can, too-through his photos. Like so many of us, Steve knew many of the firefighters who perished on that day. Like all of us, he mourns their loss. This is his tribute to those men & women.

(PRWEB) March 22, 2004 --Spak's wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on 9/07/01. He was home from work for the next two weeks. If Steve had been at work, He would have been at the World Trade Center before the collapses. Steve is an Honorary Deputy Chief with the FDNY. He would have been at the Command Post which was destroyed in the collapses. There is little doubt that Steve probably would have been killed if not for the birth of his daughter.

The book follows Steve's day on 9/11/01. Photos taken while responding, and at his arrival moments after the collapse! The exclusive photos, many which have never been published before are incredible! The Destruction, The Spectacular Fires, Wrecked Emergency Vehicles. No doubt this is an important book that will preserve the History that was made on 9/11/01.

This Book is available thru XLIBRIS.COM
Steve Spak & his daughter Danielle and his family are available for interviews and appearances in the N.Y.C. area.
