Pageant Contestant, once Insecure, Unfit and Weary
Michele Paiva, A Mrs. America contestant, has authored a book about her overcoming the obstacles of being unfit, insecure and weary - and hopes to reach out and help others to regain their body, mind and spirit.
(PRWEB) March 22, 2004 --Mrs. America Contestant, Michele Paiva has something to talk about to all the people who feel insecure, unfit and weary...and that's a lot of the population..."I was once unfit, insecure and weary. But now, afer studying and becoming a professional in health, fitness and psychology, I've come to bring those skills with real life trials, tribulations and tools - so that anyone can learn to overcome, as I did" said Paiva.
Her book, "CROSSROADS YOU ARE HERE, A guide for the Unfit Insecure and Weary" is available through Amazon as well as most bookstores and many health book sites.
It's a clear, straight talking book, written in a conversational tone.
Each chapter offers real advice, inspirational quotes, workbook space and tips and tricks to help you along your own crossroad - regardless of if it is a relationship issue, a weight issue or myriad of situations that you are hoping to change about yourself.
When you think of empowerment, what do you think of? Strength.
Displaying strength is just what Michele Paiva is doing as she competes in the Mrs. America pageant system...her spiritual strength.
"It's not about winning the title, it's about the proactive process of competing with myself. It's not about competing with other women - on the contrary, it's about forming friendships and bonds with other women who are celebrating themselves and their lives", she stated.
If you think that right now as you read this, you will never be able to accomplish a hope, a dream or a goal - you are wrong. It's all in your mind (the negativity) and it can change. I never thought that one day, as I sat in an abusive marriage, alone, overweight, with little self esteem and feeling trapped - that one day I'd be remarried to a great man, find my way out of the dark, and be honored to represent a pageant system which honors and celebrates the modern married woman. If I can go from insecure, unfit and weary, so can you. My book can show you how!
