The Charleston, SC based entertainment company 30Entertainment LLC and the producer of Karolina Live the 'The Chawle Dawk show has hired the law office of Martin & Martin Attorneys and Counsellors at Law to represent them in their case against cable giant Comcast Cable for discrimination, racial profiling and breach of contract.

(PRWEB) March 23, 2004 -- 30Entertainment LLC charges Comcast Cable with discrimination, racial profiling and breach of contract.

The Charleston, SC based entertainment company 30Entertainment LLC and the producer of Karolina Live the 'The Chawle Dawk show has hired the law office of Martin & Martin Attorneys and Counsellors at Law to represent them in their suit against cable giant Comcast Cable for discrimination, racial profiling and breach of contract. The complaint against Comcast case number 168113 was filed with the SC Human Affairs Commission on Monday 15,2004.

Since the debut of Karolina Live 'The Chawle Dawk show with host Herman Rice has been focused on a singular vision, to provide the Carolinas with a voice in hip hop. The CEO of 30Entertainment Mr. Timothy Metz stated that the show provided Carolina urban artist and young entrepreneurs with an outlet to showcase their business ventures. Our vision had paid off with the overwhelming response and support we had received from our viewers and advertisers". The show ran 6 weeks consecutive on 28 Comcast Charleston, SC then came to an sudden halt on March 10, 2004 after Comcast Cable GM Tim Horn ordered the show off the air after an alleged complaint about the show.

On Sunday, May 14, 2004 despite the shows cancellation, a previously broadcasted program of Karolina Live 'The Chawle Dawk show was aired in the same time slot. Karolina Live advertisers called in outraged that advertisement that was paid for was not run on Sunday as per their agreement. Karolina Live CEO Timothy Metz we know that under judicial scrutiny the truth about why the show was cancelled will come out. We have filed our complaint with the South Carolina State department of Human Affairs Commission. We believe in the justice system and know that Comcast will be found guilty of all charges."
