STELL SHEVIS,Camden Enamelist to give workshops in her studio. The Maine Crafts Association is sponsoring a series of Master Classes with top craftspeople taking place over several months.

So many signed up for the Enameling class that Stell will do three different one day sessions. She has been enameling for 25 years and her work has been shown in six International Enamel Exhibits around the world. She wants people to know that Enamel is Glass fused to Metal, not just paint, and requires many firings at 1500%.

Stell has been recognized for her work in enameling over 25 years and has shown pieces in six International Enamel Exhibitions over the past ten years, including Shows in Germany, France, and Venezuela, as well as all over this country. DOWN EAST, the magazine of Maine, published an article about her work in the january issue of 2004.
