Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce to host ESGR 2004 America's Car Tour to Salute New Mexico's Supportive Employers

Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and ESGR to salute New Mexico's Supportive Employers and provide information on how best to manage their employees who serve in the New Mexico National Guard and Reserve.

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) March 23, 2004 --The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) announced today that the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce will host the ESGR 2004 Americas Car Tour on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at the Albuquerque Convention Center, located at 401 2nd Street NW. In addition to recognizing New Mexicos supportive employers, ESGR will introduce the 5-Star Employer Support Program, which assists employers in creating advocacy for service in the National Guard and Reserve.

Saluting Americas Employers is the right thing to do, and this is the right time to do it", said Bob Hollingsworth, ESGR Executive Director. Many of New Mexicos employers are unsure of their responsibilities to their employees who serve in the New Mexico National Guard and Reserve. ESGR representatives will provide employers information to ensure compliance with the USERRA Laws, and suggestions on how best to manage their employees who serve their country in the New Mexico National Guard and Reserve".

ESGR will also bring to Albuquerque a NASCAR show car, known as Americas Car" which will be displayed at the Albuquerque Convention Center. All of Albuquerque is invited to have their picture taken with Americas Car", and to sign their names to several large Support our Troops" banners. These banners will be sent to our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and other locations in the United States and overseas.
