Walk of Legends" World Premiere Set for April 2004 Tambay Film Festival hosts documentary feature by Leora Chai
The independent documentary film, "Walk of Legends" continues to gain momentum within the independent film festival community with its anticipated world premiere at the Tambay Film Festival in 2004. The feature documentary film is a directorial debut by Leora Chai, 27, and was executive produced by Ralph Mervine, Carter Parke Productions.
The documentary film is about the fastest growing sport in America. Walk of Legends takes a candid look at the story of several racing legends in the stock car racing world.
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) March 23, 2004 --The documentary features interviews with racing legends, Bobby Allison , Junior Johnson (former team owner and stock car racing legend), Humpy Wheeler(Lowes Motor Speedway President), Peter Golenbock (auther of American Zoom & stock car racing encyclopedia), Jimmie Johnson ( Nascar driver) , Dave Marcus and local St. Petersburg, Florida race car driver Art Calkins.
Chai, who is the founder and director of the Tambay Film Festival in Tampa, said, "It's an honor to be able to premiere my first project at the festival as part of the event. Eventhough the film isnt in compitition, I am equally excited that it will get seen at the festival. I enjoy helping other filmmakers get noticed as well. Tambay Film Festival is a true independent film festival."
Leora Chai is currently seeking representation and is working on directing her first narritive feature as well as serve as a producer for the up-coming film "Siesta Key Branch" written by Joel Lee Sherman.
