New Short Fiction Magazine Showcases Authors From Around The World.

Monthly Short Stories, a new short fiction magazine based in Kansas City, Missouri, features writers from around the world and is distributed through the Internet.

(PRWEB) March 24, 2004 -- Monthly Short Stories, a new short fiction magazine based in Kansas City, Missouri, features writers from around the world and is distributed through the Internet.

David Hooper founded the magazine with the idea of making an easy read for people who are too busy to tackle an entire novel or literary magazine, but still enjoy an occasional story. Each issue will feature two or three short pieces that can be read in a total of fifteen minutes or less.

There are two versions of the magazine: booklet (USA only) and an emailed version that uses the Adobe Reader. The emailed version may be printed or read on the computer. Hooper says that the magazine will be small enough to fit in a portfolio or purse. A new issue will be sent the first week of every month.

The magazine includes work in every fiction genre, such as mystery, romance, family saga, and literary. The magazine has had submissions from around the world and authors from Australia, Canada, India, and the USA have appeared in past or in future issues. Submission policy is on the web site.

A 1-year subscription to the magazine is $14.00 for the booklet and $7.50 for the Adobe Reader version. To subscribe to Monthly Short Stories, or to order a free trial issue, visit the web site.
