Corona, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2004 -- AlternativeSpin Music Company, a subsidiary of Capitol Imaging Group is hosting a charity rock concert in honor of Lauren Dougalis, a dedicated fan of the Broken Horizon Band. Dougalis died in a head on collision with a drunk driver on March 6 at 2:30 am. The two passengers, Jessica Smith and KC Smith survived the crash but with severe injuries. This charity event features 20 alternative rock bands and give aways from local radio stations. The concert will be held in their home town of Corona, California on Saturday, March 27 at 1691 Belair Street. Admission is free with any amount donation. Food will be available for a $10 purchase. All donations will assist the three families with medical expenses and costs associated with this tragedy.
The Corona community will deeply mourn the loss of Lauren Dougalis who was often seen selling shirts for the Broken Horizon Band. Dan Huerta, the manager of Broken Horizon describes Dougalis as ...one of our biggest fans who attended every one of our concerts. She was a kind and understanding person who had a passion for music and was always there for us. We will miss her deeply." The alternative music scene in Corona has quite the loyal following and all three of these women will be in the minds and hearts of the music community.
