Trump Inspires Republican to Trademark Kerry's Phrase "Republican Attack Machine"
Presidential Candidate John Kerry's catch phrase "Republican Attack Machine" was trademarked by Orlando Republican Eric Bolves to prevent the Democrats from using the phrase on campain materials.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 26, 2004 -- Presidential Candidate John Kerry's catch phrase "Republican Attack Machine" was trademarked this week by Orlando Republican Eric Bolves to prevent the Democrats from using the phrase on campain materials.
For months Kerry's campaign has blamed the un-named "Republican Attack Machine" for all manner of personal attacks and political dirty tricks. He has used the phrase in virtually every speech he has made since declaring his candidacy for President.
Inspired by Donald Trump who recently registered the phrase "You're Fired", Eric Bolves an Orlando attorney and republican registered the phrase "Republican Attack Machine" as a trademark. Bolves hopes the registration will prevent democrats from using the phrase on campaign materials and also hopes to make some money licensing the phrase.
