According to Quotemyjob.com co-owner Scott Winters, ?We are a company focused on usability and convenience. If we can help consumers and contractors, we want to do that. Our proprietary technology helps everyone save time and money by providing a virtual meeting place on the internet. The website was not built to create or accommodate bidding wars between contractors. We provide a quick and convenient way for people to give and receive multiple bids on various home improvement projects.?

The changes to the Quotemyjob.com fee structure are as follows: Home improvement jobs quoted via the internet now carry a 2% win fee capped at $100 that is only assessed to the winning contractor. Telephone leads submitted to the website are disseminated without charge to local contractors in the area.

As stated by Winters, ?We realized that as much as we want the jobs to be bid over the internet, sometimes they just can?t be. You have to go see it in person. So we thought, instead of turning these phone leads away, why not give them as much attention as possible by making them free.?

Quotemyjob.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of S Winters Enterprises, LLC, based in North Canton, Ohio. S Winters Enterprises, LLC is managed by members and was formed in July of 2003, with the sole purpose of founding the Quotemyjob.com website.
