B-Net Radio Tejano Hits the world by Desert- storm!
Try listening to the radio on the internet and all of a sudden hear a troop call in from Iraq and then another and then another and then a Family Member and so on and son on.
(PRWEB) March 28, 2004 --As B-Net Radio continues to prosper on the world wide web, the listening base continues to grow. No one really believed that one day you would be logged on the World Wide Web and listen to your favorite music that you grew up with as a child or young adult. Niether did the troops in Iraq until one day Sgt. Lazaro Ramos while serving in Iraq in a mash unit, surfed the net and somehow tripped over Tejano Music. He immediately wrote home and told his family that he listens in. The relationship with B-Net Radio and the troops grew to having family members call in to send out small messages of love to their respective family members in Iraq.
This concept grew and grew until one day a live News team from Houston,Texas came to the Radio station and while interviewing the Boogieman and another D.J. one of the troops called in and spoke to the reporter live on the air while they were filming. Little did she know that as soon as the father heard his son on the air, he picked up the phone and called from Seattle, Washington just to tell his son how much he missed him and he wanted him to know that if were not B-Net Radio he could not sleep as well as he has in recent days. As he expressed himself tears rolled down the face of eveyone in that room as well youcould hear it in the voice of the father, that he truly missed his son.
B-Net Radio would like to invite everyone to log in and listen to bnetradio.com/tejano. The music you grew up with y mas.
