2004 Writers Notes Book Awards
Writers Notes Magazine announces the winners of the 2004 Writers Notes Book Awards, defining eleven categories of independent publishing excellence.
(PRWEB) March 29, 2004 --In what is already proving to be a banner year for WritersNote.com with the release of Writers Notes Magazine, the results of the Writers Notes Book Awards have been announced.
The Writers Notes Book Awards define eleven distinct categories of independent publishing excellence in Art, General Fiction, Commercial Fiction, Childrens, Young Adult, Culture, Business, Reference, Home, Health/Self-Help, Legacy, Books were awarded cash, prizes, and distinction on three levels in descending order: Winner, First Runner-Up, and Notables.
The art, culture, and self-help categories were extremely competitive," says magazine editor and creator Christopher Klim. The winners beat out terrific books." Klim is also the cult author of Jesus Lives in Trenton and the new novel Everything Burns, which is already drawing wide critical praise.
I wanted to pry open the narrowly defined and restrictive market for literature and books," Klim says. A low carb diet book cant be the only offering that interests people. Writers Notes is all about assisting emerging authors and publishers, bringing new and diverse works before the public. These will be the voices of tomorrow."
