HI-POD towers over cameramen outside of Martha Stewart trial, capturing her in profile as she ascends stairs into courthouse . (watch movie at www.hi-pod.com)

(PRWEB) March 30, 2004 -- Without credentials, without a press pass, and even without a clear shot of the subject , the HI-POD captured spectacular footage of Martha Stewart as she entered the court house on the final day of deliberations.

Because of the physical obstructions to a clear shot, no one expected a camera to be off to the side of the courthouse steps. But towering above the street at 15 feet, a HI-POD captured clear unobstructed profile views of Martha Stewart as she ascended the court house stairs.

Only the CNN video crew was allowed to be in front of the courthouse steps during the entire Martha Stewart trial. The rest of the TV crews were across the street taking the feed from CNN. These TV crews could only get the back of Ms. Stewart's head.

HI-POD operator Billy Barrera recognized the problem immediately. "Why should I settle for the same shot that everyone else was going to get. I understand there are rules to follow when you work in the press, but with the HI-POD you create your own rules. No one expects a mobile one man 15 foot camera system . They haven't created rules for us yet"
