Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2004 -- Berkeley Park Records is now Berkeley Park Music and Entertainment (BPME). The company is developing a game and several feature film projects and, as part of the new venture, is launching the International Feature Film Screenplay Contest, beginning April 1, 2004 and running through August 31, 2004.
The contest is for feature-length screenplays in English language only and is open to all non-represented screenwriters. It is designed to help screenwriters gain industry exposure with agents, production companies, producers and studios and to give them the opportunity to have their screenplay developed for feature film production. Any marketable genre will be accepted.
The winning screenplay will be optioned by Los Angeles based producer Diana Osberg for BPME. Ms. Osberg has developed feature film and television projects for actor/producer Tobey Maguire and has significant relationships within the Hollywood community, including producers, agents and studio executives. The winning screenwriter will work closely with Ms. Osberg in developing the winning screenplay for feature film production. There is no guarantee of production, however, every effort will be made to bring the project to the screen. The winning screenplay will be submitted to literary agencies for writer representation.
