Southern California Bicycle Expo comes to the Los Angeles Convention Center April 2-4,2004. The nation's largest consumer bicycle show returns for it's 8th year to celebrate the sport and lifestyle of cycling.

(PRWEB) March 31, 2004 -- Celebrate the sport and lifestyle of bicycling at the eighth annual Southern California Bicycle Expo, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Friday through Sunday, April 2-4, 2004. A must-attend event-and the largest and most successful consumer bicycle show in the nation-the Expo features hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest in bicycles and accessories, cycling fashions, and bicycle vacation destination resorts and tours, plus great deals at the Expo Marketplace.

Now, more than ever, the Southern California Bicycle Expo is an entertainment extravaganza!

•Ride the Expos unique indoor dirt test track, with over 400 tons of imported dirt-a true off-road experience to try out the latest in mountain bike and BMX technology.

The Southern California Bicycle Expo also features two annual riding events. The fifth annual Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Kids Ride, April 3, will use a closed course on the Convention Center grounds and adjacent streets designed to maximize fun and safety for participants of all ages. The event is open to kids 12 and under, and is free to all participants. All finishers will receive a race number, a special medal and free entry into the Southern California Bicycle Expo.
   
Now in its seventh year, the 2004 Volvo City of Angels Fun Ride (April 4) once again will help the citys littlest angels" by donating the rides profits to help Childrens Hospital Los Angeles buy a bloodmobile. This years new spectacular 38+ mile route offers a tour of over 65 cultural, historic and scenic Los Angeles sights-celebrating the diversity that is Los Angeles by bringing people together in a fun and healthy way-by bike. Nearly 1,000 riders participated in last years event. All riders receive free admission to the Southern California Bicycle Expo.
