Emmy Award Winning TM Systems Intros New DubStation II Full Screen Display MPEG-4 Hi-Res Images

Emmy TM SYSTEMS, creators of the industry's only fully integrated, digital language translation, dubbing, subtitling & closed captioning system, to intro DubStation II, with full screen video display, at this year's NAB.

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) March 30, 2004 -- The EMMY Award winning TM Systems has announced a major breakthrough in studio dubbing technology with its new generation DubStation II(Dubbing Studio) configuration. According to Carlos Contreras, company CTO, We offer extended functionality and an improved recording experience for talent with more display options on the talent and directors side. Full screen video with text overlay in teleprompter style or Rhytmo-style scrolling text, as well as standard shared video and text display, aid in increasing recording quality and reducing studio time."

In response to many of our existing, international DubStation users, as well as eager prospects, we now offer these new, enhanced video display modes that allow complete freedom of studio configurations. As in the past, the TM Systems DubStation does away with the typical need for talent to shift focus between paper script in hand, and an image on a TV screen 6-10 feet away," Contreras added. Video and accompanying text are arranged to facilitate in-dialogue reading of talent while following lip-synch and general performance of the original dialogue. Video images can be projected as desired."

Additionally, TM has enhanced its digitizing capability to a wide range of video codecs, including MPEG-4 in its PrepStation. This significant advancement will provide from low resolution proxies to near DVD quality images on the TranStation and DubStation modules in the TM family of localization software. Higher resolution does not come at the expense of bigger file sizes, and digitized videos can be transmitted electronically with ease, or stored in a central facility.

The use of high resolution formats also facilitate the ability to utilize state of the art projection systems and/or Plasma displays while maintaining crisp, clear images, with unparalleled ability to detect lip movement in virtually any scene.
