Digital Blend ® features installation of artist Peskins work

Café displays illuminations by distinguished member of Pittsfields growing artist populous.

Pittsfield, MA (PRWEB) March 31, 2004 -- Digital Blend announces the presentation of a series of works by artist Nicole Peskin. The cafés eight-piece installation features illuminations of silver, platinum and aluminum leaf on varnished Xeroxed drawings. On display at 76 North Street, the framed works were created as studies for the production of three-dimensional metallic screens.

Associated with the Storefront Artist Project, Peskin has a Pittsfield storefront at 299 North Street.

There she focuses primarily on theater-like installations influenced by the studio windows proscenium effect on the space. In addition she works with steel and other materials at Babelinc, her sculpture studio at the Wyandotte Mill complex, and has a book due out this summer.
