Psychics and Cops

Psychic Dr. Kelly Roberts and the special team of retired cops she's putting together.

San Marcos, CA (PRWEB) April 1, 2004 -- Dr. Kelly Roberts has worked as a consultant to law enforcement agencies for twenty years, specializing in crimes of violence - primarily homicide. She uses a combination of techniques, including clairvoyance (seeing), clairsentience (feeling) and clairaudience (hearing), psychometry (holding an object or photo) and other unique techniques shes found to hone in on a case. But she doesnt profess to work all types of cases, nor pledge to solve the case. Her job is simply to provide as much information as possible, and that usually includes: physical descriptions (including height, weight, age, marks, etc.), sequence of events for the crime (for suspect as well as victim), locations of possible whereabouts or evidence, and so on. That information is then given to the officer she is working with and it is their job to follow up on the information, check leads and solve the case. Dr. Roberts simply works as a consulting tool, not an investigative one nor an arresting officer. Law Enforcement agencies have called upon Dr. Roberts on a myriad of cases, and although her techniques may differ greatly from their own, there are many departments that use psychic help on a regular basis, even if the public isnt aware of it.

So what is the secret to making this partnership work? Dr. Roberts states, I actually think we could solve a lot more cases if there werent so many misconceptions 'out there about what a psychic is or isnt, or does or does not do. I cant speak for all psychics, only myself, but I can assure you, I dont bend spoons, walk through walls or do magic tricks. In some cases Ive worked, my psychic input had very little to do with what I provided, but my observations after working hundreds of cases gave me insights that the officer I was working with didnt have. Theres nothing 'unnatural about that, just different levels of experience. Plus, cops use their intuition and own psychic abilities, to whatever degree they are developed, every day. If they sense danger down a certain alley when no visual indication shows danger, thats intuition. I do very similar in my work, just more enhanced in certain areas. I may not 'walk through walls, but on some occasions, I can see through them and describe the contents of a room, even the furnishings or floor plan. It depends on what is being asked of me, and the necessity of providing it. If someone is playing games with me just to test me, I end up blocking it or refuse to play. I have better things to do with my time. If, however, the information is truly needed, then there is no limit to what a good psychic can pick up on. That doesnt mean, however, that were always going to be one hundred percent right every single time. If that were the case, wed be walking on water, and I dont think you see to many psychics walking on water. Or anyone else, for that matter, including cops."

Dr. Roberts released a new book (in ebook and paperback versions) detailing many of her first cases in working with law enforcement. The book, Psychic Investigations: A Clairvoyants Diary of Assisting Law Enforcement," has already drawn many groups, including cops, magazines,
screenwriters and groups against the death penalty. (The book is available at Roberts Publishing - www.robertspublishing.com .)

Another possible answer to resolve some of these unsolved cases which have been shelved for years is to combine efforts in a new way. Dr. Roberts will be teaming with some of the officers she has worked with in the past on several cases, and between the group, they will be offering their consulting services to law enforcement agencies and selected private cases. We wont be out tracking down leads or doing this from a typical 'investigative standpoint," she says. The private cases that come to us still have to have a law enforcement agent who is handling their case and our information will be turned over to them to investigate." Of the group, however, the cops who will be joining her and putting their collective 'heads together have a vast background in all aspects of investigation. These guys are pros, used to seeing upwards of 3 - 5 homicides a week. Ive been waiting nearly fourteen years for them to retire from their departments, and now three of them are doing so within the next few months. Our fees will be minimal, just enough to cover a fraction of our time, but the results could be phenomenal. Departments have welcomed me over the years, shown me every respect. Now it will be interesting to see how they react to some of their own who move on to other pastures. I look forward to it, and hopefully we can get a lot of work done," Dr. Roberts says.
