Wine and Food Festival announced for Rehoboth Beach, DE

The First Annual Rehoboth Beach Wine and Food Festival will be held April 23-25 in this Delaware shore resort town. Winery owners and reps will visit and there will be tastings and special wine dinners at 16 gourmet restaurants in town.

(PRWEB) April 3, 2004 --Sixteen downtown Rehoboth Restaurants get set to celebrate food and wine.

Downtown Rehoboth is hosting a Wine and Food Festival to rival the finest events anywhere! Rehoboth Beach Main Street and Sixteen Main Street member restaurants are organizing the first annual Rehoboth Beach Wine and Food Festival Friday, April 23-Sunday, April 25.

Wineries, their representatives and local wine stewards are buzzing about the remarkable tastings and wine dinners planned around town for the festival. The latest trends and most marvelous wine dinners will be unfolding, at the participating downtown restaurants.

The restaurants will host a range of events from wine tasting happy hours to fabulous wine-sampling dinners. There will be celebrity guest chefs and sommeliers, cooking classes, and wine education programs -- as all of downtown Rehoboth celebrates glorious grapes and distinctive gourmet dining.

As Rehoboth Beach continues to gain regional notoriety as a culinary destination, this first Annual Food and Wine Festival will showcase Rehoboths exceptional culinary traditions -- as food and wine professionals bring us the newest trends in the restaurant and spirits industries. Vintners and wine representatives from an exceptional selection of wineries and providers are lining up to visit Rehoboth that weekend.

Participants include Abstractions, Adriatico, Blue Moon, Café Sole, Camels Hump, Celsius, Cloud 9, Cultured Pearl, Dogfish Head, Eden, Espuma, Dish!, Jakes, Planet X, Sydneys and Victorias.
