How private companies can help the government in its war on terrorism.
The Association of Language Companies (The ALC) has announced that Everette Jordan, the Director of the governments National Virtual Translation Center, and Margaret Gulotta, the FBIs Chief of Language Services, will join a panel of speakers from government organizations about the governments need for language services and how private companies can help the government in its war on terrorism.
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) April 3, 2004 --The Association of Language Companies (The ALC) has announced that Everette Jordan, the Director of the governments National Virtual Translation Center, and Margaret Gulotta, the FBIs Chief of Language Services, will join a panel of speakers from government organizations about the governments need for language services and how private companies can help the government in its war on terrorism.
Jordan has a long history with the Department of Defense and the Joint 9/11 Inquiry Staff before being tapped to head this new organization. The goal of the NVTC is to develop a national network of translators who are ready to assist in the timely and accurate translation of foreign language material relating to national security.
Gulotta is the FBIs Senior Executive responsible for managing the daily operations of the Foreign Language Program and providing administrative guidance and support to the National Virtual Translation Center. She is responsible for all deployment of linguists in the FBI, foreign language training, linguist recruitment and the use of technology to process languages.
Both Jordan and Gulotta bring an enormous amount of experience to the conference, and are willing to share their experience and expertise with attendees.
