Gena Reed Promoted to President

Paragon Biomedical has announced the promotion of Gena Reed. In her new position, Gena will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company. Her current areas of responsibility as Executive Vice President include Strategic Operations, Client Relations and Clinical Operations. This promotion will add Quality Operations, Business Services, Information Technology, Human Resources and Administration to her current areas of responsibility. We are excited to have Gena bring her considerable leadership skills and unbounded enthusiasm to Paragon during this time of dramatic growth in revenue and profitability.

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) April 3, 2004 --- Gena, as one of the founders of Paragon in 1989, has performed most of the job functions in the company. At various times, Gena has had responsibility for Sales & Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. Gena holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to Paragon, Gena worked in Pharmaceutical Sales Mgmt, Consumer Products Sales Mgmt, and Human Resources at Merrell National, Merrell Dow and Marion Merrell Dow. While at Merrell Dow, she was one of five individuals selected to start a new health promotion business. In 1998, Gena and Nick Reed received the Orange County Ernst and Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award for Healthcare.
