CaptureMAX 2.5 Webcam Automation Software Released

TNL Total Solutions has announced the release of CaptureMAX 2.5, the next generation of webcam automation software.

CaptureMAX is a no-nonsense, fully featured professional webcam automation package. CaptureMAX allows you to broadcast still captures from your webcam to the Internet, record video with sound and compile time-lapse videos.

There are very few notable differences in functionality in this release. However, this version is a MASSIVE rewrite of the core audio and video functions.

Previous versions of CaptureMAX utilized the now obsolete VFW (Video For Windows) standard, which was later replaced with the WDM standard.

This rewrite of the core functions of CaptureMAX will ensure compatibility with newer cameras as well as make multi-camera use much easier and paves the way for CaptureMAX v3 feature-set due out in soon.

One of the many new features that set CaptureMAX aside from the competition is the new remote access capability. During the early beta testing of CaptureMAX 2.x, CaptureMAX was used to broadcast the new Guinness world record for the longest bartending shift in the world. The webcam was located on location in Dayton, OH and managed remotely from Eugene, OR -- only 3000 miles away.

The new time-lapse video capabilities are also greatly improved with a brand new time-lapse video builder and an advanced time-lapse video compiler (now bundled as part of the distribution).
