Indie Debut Album Nominated for CD of the Year Award

San Diego Rockers Exhibit F have been nominated for a CD of the Year award for thier debut album "Blue in the Background."

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) April 5, 2004 --Female fronted band Exhibit Fs debut CD, Blue in the Background, has been nominated for the fifth annual presentation of the CD of the Year Awards from Kweevak's Tracks. Over 180 independent, as well as mainstream CDs have been nominated this year for this prestigious award, which allows fans to vote for their favorite artists starting April 1, 2004.

Since the release of their debut CD, Blue in the Background, Exhibit F have been enjoying a steady rise in popularity. The tough vocals, fiery lyrics, and dark tone showcased by Exhibit F have been making them something that the general public isnt accustomed to. Lead singer Melle has been compared to many of the great women singers who have paved the way before her including; Debbie Harry, Joan Jett, Gwen Stefani, and even Janis Joplin.

This years Kweevak Awards will be split into two awards categories: "Top CD of the Year" and "Viewer's Choice CD of the Year with 40 winner's in each category. All Viewer's Choice winners will be presented on Kweevak.com in order of votes received (1-40), while the CD of the Year Award winners will receive an animated web graphic, be announced in press releases that are sent to music media outlets around the world, and announced on several Internet web casts and radio shows as well.
