The scoop on the rock band "XO-Dust".
The modern rock band "Xo-dust" is labeled "one of the best bands to come out of the southeast." Their music takes you off on a ride that doesn't let go.. even after its over.
Walterboro, SC (PRWEB) April 6, 2004 --When listening to the rock band Xo-dust and their melodic modern rock songs, one might assume that lead singer/bass guitar/song writer Eddie Rumfelt has had some rather interesting private experiences with love and life, singing about a "Ruptured" soul or dealing with the reality of the appropriately titled "Nothing Left to Say" and "All Alone." The rugged obliging front man Eddie Rumfelt doesn't appear to hide his private experiences. In fact, the straight forward 21 year old admitted that in the past he would easily fall deep in love for all the wrong reasons.
"It has always been extremely difficult for me to learn from my mistakes when it comes to love and personal relationships. A lot of people have this problem, including our lead guitarist Ben McMillan. The adversity has allowed Ben and me to write lyrics and immerse ourselves into the
music. The lyrics and music take on a life of its own. Every artist knows the process. Our band has been friends since childhood. We have always shared creativity selflessly, every band member writes music and the outcome becomes a single reality. We all assume the process keeps our "heads on straight" most of the time anyway. Right now we are working hard performing live in order to have people experience our new CD, says Mr. Rumfelt."
Their new rock CD "Fade IN" is fresh and imaginative, and reaches its ends by some kind of unrivaled intuitive power, emitting an original energy and force that takes you off on a ride that doesn't let go.. even after its over. XO-Dust was established in 1997, in Walterboro, South Carolina, their average age then was 14 years old. They began performing at venues in 1998, and in that same year released their first eleven song album called "Self-Tilted." In 2001 they recorded a two-song demo that quickly gained rotational radio play for both songs on WAVF 96.1 and WYBB 98.1. In 2002 "XO-Dust" seeking to reproduce the energy and sonic punch of their live shows, began recording their new album "Fade IN" that again received rotational radio play.
Bobby Collins, WYBB 98.1 said, "Xo-dust is one of the best bands I've seen to come out of the southeast, and a major band to contend with in the music industry!" J. Wagner, Storyline Records said, "These guys have a great full sound and vocals to match!"
In 2004 XO-Dust plans a seasonal promotional tour of the USA.
