(PRWEB) April 6, 2004 --Amber Alerts can not be over used!" said TAA Chair Antonia Plemmons," The real fear is potential failure to issue timely alert to disseminate valid information." While hoaxing has occurred in the Amber Alert system, there has not been a problem created as averred by many. Improved safeguards exist today designed to exclude any abuse.
Team Amber Alert declares this is a dangerous urban Myth that Amber Alert can be over used. This myth is postured by well meaning persons and organizations that are uninformed.
The impact of this myth is intended to create unnecessary delays in issuing valid alert information or to throttle the number of amber alerts issued. Resulting in failed response by all to assist in an emergency event. Additionally results in hiding the sheer volume of missing cases that exist today. Failure to respond rapidly and timely results in fewer children returning alive.
Current Amber Alert information formats allows for real time updating and to add additional information whenever needed. The Public is informed and savvy to such needs for changes of initial information broadcast as an amber alert. EAS system allows for updating alerts and branding by subsequent relay of the information by broadcasters, print media publishers or net producers.
The Public will continue to repond to challenges before them from Alert Notification Community. A real harm exists in underestimating the Public's resolve and capacity to respond. Be Advised "all terrorist and predators alike", TAA's Public is vigilent and shall interdict and destroy abuser's ability to attack children and families. The Public will be prepared. The Public is determined to not be victim or allow further actions of terror against our children and families. Stand with us. Register at our site. Start a Team Amber Chapter in your neighborhood or join at large the TAA community.

Every second counts in the initial moments of a missing or lost case. No delay is justifiable. If decisions must be made then the balance should be to err on the side of the child's safety. Children come in all ages. Lets roll quicky and with all due caution to rescue and interdict the process of missing, vanished or lost persons alert events.
