Healthcare Technology Expert Joel Andersen to Become Vice President of Sales and Marketing

e-MDs announced today the appointment of Joel Andersen as the company's new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Andersen has over twelve years of experience in healthcare technology. He most recently founded and served as President of Healthcare Technology Advocates (HTA), a healthcare technology consulting firm which assisted physician practices with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software selection and implementation. Prior to founding HTA, he was a product manager for healthcare software companies Trizetto, Mariner Systems, and VantageMed. Mr. Andersen holds a B.S.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Denver.
