Celebrate Earth Day with an Organic Glamour workshop with Mrs. Pennsylvania-America Contestant and Wellness Professional, Michele Paiva

(PRWEB) April 9, 2004 -- This April 22nd is Earth Day. Celebrate it with a half day workshop, beginning at noon - and bring a clean face to try out a few organic, natural topical face washes, masks and revitalizers.

Beauty can be earth friendly and animal cruelty-free - and should be! In addition, beauty is about health, not pop cultures idea of "sexy". However, that being said, you can be sexy, attractive and still promote earth friendly practices that also are kind to your body, by using organic compounds.

For instance, taking a bit of warm water and some fresh oats, is a great toner and moisturizer for the face. Add a bit of sugar (brown is best) to get a scrub quality and detoxifier, and to bring aromatherapy qualities to it, add a bit of rose water or crushed marigold leave. Marigold leaves are also said to be beneficial for healing skin, so it's a dual benefit to use!

The workshop is free, and it's leader, Michele Paiva, is proud to be a participant in the Mrs. Pennsylvania America pageant, held this upcoming May.
