Mrs. America Contestant is a Red Hatter!
Michele Paiva, a Mrs. Pennsylvania America Contestant is a member of the Red Hat Society, a society dedicated to the embracement of women who are gaining age, widsom and wit!
(PRWEB) April 9, 2004 -- Although not yet in her 50's (still in her 30's) Michele Paiva, a participant in the Mrs. America pageant, is a member of the Red Hat Society. Technically, this fun society calls any women less than 50 years of age, a "pink hatter"....
Paiva joined the Red Hat Society two years ago and is a director of her regional society, "Seeing Red". The society started from a poem which states in it playfully, "when I am 50 I will wear a purple dress and wear a red hat"...
Since it's inception in 1997, the Red Hat Society has grown to an international society, with a website that boasts a slew of queenly news, products and inspiration for women who do not want to age and feel "the best years are over"...but want to embrace the future with vigor!
Paiva is so dedicated, that she is even quoted in the new Red Hat Society book, available now in all major bookstores and amazon.
She will promote the Red Hat Society as she competes in the Mrs. Pennsylvania-America pageant, and will help to promote both organizations, both of which are promoting women by celebrating the modern woman of today.
