Dr. Torbett has a broad background in the networking, wireless Internet, and electronic design automation (EDA) markets. His expertise is in structuring companies for rapid expansion and market penetration. Most recently, Dr. Torbett held senior executive positions at mobileID, a wireless Internet application platform developer, and GWcom (now Mtone), a wireless Internet content provider. He has held executive positions at Ford Aerospace, Daisy/Cadnetix, System Industries and SRI International. Dr. Torbett holds four patents in packet radio technology and is extensively published. He received his Ph.D. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford, and an MS and BS in Applied Mathematics at University of Maryland and Georgia Tech, respectively.

In his new role at Intangi, Dr. Torbett will work closely with customer and engineering teams to strengthen our business process and product configuration offerings. He will help to position Intangi as a key business process automation provider for high-end systems manufacturers and integrators.
