Historical Novel on The Life of Jesus Christ
A set of two extraordinary books on the life of Jesus:
A novel and a devotional from Xulon Press
The biographical-novel: God in Sandals: When Jesus Walked Among Us
Vivid and original, full of surprise and insight, this passionate story retraces the footsteps of Jesus across the pages of the Gospels. Here is portrayed a truly human and fully divine Son of Man-about that unique and holy time when God walked among us as one of us.
The story is not predictable, even to a reader who is familiar with the Gospel story, yet it stays close to the Scriptures and accepted evangelical belief. Besides the familiar Biblical characters and events in the Gospels, a few fictional ones are introduced to spark the readers imagination to be there" in what could easily have been. Through creative, artful storytelling, this novel unveils the real Jesus of the Bible. In these pages, readers will meet a Jewish Jesus, a truly human Jesus, and an irresistible Divine Jesus.
God in Sandals will deepen and enlighten readers understanding of the Savior, appealing to those who are hungering and thirsting to really know Him. And, for those curious about His life, this book will forever change any abstract, religious image of him they might have had. Readers will see Jesus in new ways through this book because it not only describes the events of his life, but it descriptively portrays his heart and character as well. It is biographical, historical fiction about the greatest story ever told, about the greatest Person who ever lived.

In these pages, the reader will share the eyewitness" accounts of those who looked into his eyes, heard his provocative and grace-filled words, and beheld his love in action.
